NEET 2025: Admit Card (OUT), Exam Date, Syllabus, Pattern, Old Paper

The NEET 2025 admit card has been released on April 30, 2025. Candidates can download their NEET 2025 hall ticket using the download link on this page. Candidates have to login using their NEET 2025 application number and password to download the NEET admit card 2025. 

The NEET 2025 exam date is May 4, 2025, scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM, to be held in 566 cities across India and abroad. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a dedicated platform for candidates to report suspicious claims, aiming to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. The initiative has been taken as a response to last year's NEET question paper leak and other controversies. The platform, accessible at https://t.co/IqF6r9nnke, allows candidates to report three types of suspicious activities: unauthorised website activities, social media accounts claiming access to the NEET UG 2025 paper, and impersonation or fake officials. The reporting window remains open until 5:00 PM IST on May 4, 2025, aligning with the exam date to ensure prompt action.

 The NEET 2025 exam pattern has been revised to the pre-COVID era pattern. The optional questions have been removed, making the total number of questions 180 instead of 200. The total duration of the exam has also been reduced from 200 to 180 minutes. Instead of 3 hours and 20 minutes, the NEET 2025 exam will be conducted for three hours. The NEET marking scheme has remained the same as last year. 

As less than a month is left for NEET 2025, students are involved in last-minute preparation, which mainly consists of solving previous years' questions (NEET PYQs) and NEET mock tests, last-minute revision, among others. The majority of aspirants find a common preparation strategy for NEET and Board exams to be sufficient. However, according to the experts, to crack NEET with high numbers, additional preparation and practice is a must.

NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in a paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode, in a single day and shift. Hence, the recommendation made by the NTA expert committee about conducting the test in a computer-based mode or hybrid mode, and in multiple phases, has been quashed.
